Health Watch

It seems I was quick to go and judge Starbucks for my ailments. The heart palpitations, chills, nausea and finally weakness all got bad enough that I left work early and went to see my doctor. By the time I got to see him, I had quite a fever already. He determined that I was suffering from two separate problems, and wasn't I lucky to only have to visit him once? *har har* Seriously, though -- I love my doctor. And funnier still, is that he could be the twin brother of Robert Klein! My hubby went with me to the appt, and was amazed at how right I was.

Getting back to my ailments -- it seems I was coming down with the flu, and on top of it, what felt like an anxiety attack was an anxiety attack. I've had them before, but never for as long and as often as I did in that one day. So I ended up with two prescriptions -- Tamiflu and Valium. Ha! Luckily it hasn't been a terrible flu. I just feel weak and sleepy, and staying in bed pretty much takes care of that. This venture to the computer is the most I've done all day. As for the anxiety -- perhaps being at home helps, because I've felt fine in that area today.
*
And now back to my schedule of tossing and turning on my bed.

Oh that is a tough daily double! I'm familiar with the anxiety attacks those are freaky and yes, feel just like a heart attack. I had one while pregnant with K and nearly faited in the shower.

I hope you are better soon on both counts!!

Poor thing! It's funny that you mention the anxiety attack, because I had one in the middle of the night over the weekend, after having been free of them for years. Maybe it was something in the cosmos? I've been okay since, but I HATE those things. I think I need to go get an RX to have just in case. Does Valium work for yours?

Yup - I know about both the anxiety attacks AND the flu. First time I got the flu a few years ago I had the flu AND strep throat - ugh! Last time just the flu thank goodness (even though it was right when my hubby had his surgery and M had the flu too!) As for anxiety attacks, they're almost gone since I moved not sure what that says). Hope you feel better :-)

I could totally use some of that Valium, too. Hell, just give me an IV of it so I can have a constant drip! (HUGS) Hope ya feel better soon.

Yikes! Get well soon! I've felt awful all day and I'm blaming it on the wildfire smoke that has invaded our town. I feel like I have a brick in my chest!

Anyway, get better and get over to my blog to vote on my Top Five!

:+)

OMG--sending good thoughts your way. I think I'd rather have the flu than a panic attack. They're so scary!
