Grampas and Star Wars

I just have to share a few moments with Noelle as we sit here watching the final episode of "The Girls Next Door." She's not truly "watching," but she's catching snippets of the final episode as everyone's moving out. I'm intrigued, even though I haven't watched an episode in months. Noelle's favorite game during any show or movie is to point out which one is her on the screen. If she sees a pretty girl or a cute animal, she'll say, "I'm that girl" or "I'm that dog."

On the screen: Bridget in her room talking about her new job.
Noelle: I'm that girl, and that's my room in my house, and it has lots and lots of food. And I have a big back yard with a trampoline and a big playground.

During Bridget's party, they showed Hef.
Noelle: I'm glad her Grampa is there.

When Bridget didn't take her cat Gizmo.
Noelle: Oh my gosh, I guess her Grampa's going to have to take care of her cat.

HAHA

Meanwhile, Charlie's been watching "Return of the Jedi" for the first time in his life. He already knows all of the characters and how the movie goes thanks to a little thing called Lego Star Wars on the Wii. He actually knows more characters than I do, which is hilarious, but he loved seeing it all come together. I might have cried a little when Luke finally saw his father for the first time without a mask. What can I say -- I'm a big ol' sap when it comes to these movies. I grew up on them, and they hold a big piece of my heart.

By the way, has everyone seen this? It's another classic.

The Girls Next Door is a total guilty pleasure for me! I would love to live there just so I could order room service whenever I want and not pay for it!

The grampa comment--too funny!
