Life's a Beach

I know I said I would review something from Jumpstart and then have a giveaway, but two things happened this weekend.

One - I haven't had enough time to check it out with the kids, so a few more days are in order.

Two - We did this today instead.

The temps hit the 90's here in the Bay Area, so off to the beach we went! My favorite beach is Natural Bridges in Santa Cruz and we had a blast getting knocked over by waves, climbing all over the rocks and finding all kinds of living things in the tide pools. We saw crabs, starfish, pelicans, anemones, barnacles, mussels, urchins and various birds. We hunted for the 8 foot octopus that makes his home in one of the coves, but apparently he was out hunting today. THAT would have been a kodak blog moment.

We're home, we're tired and we're sunburned, but it was a fanTAStic day.

Now please excuse me while I go apply some more aloe to my legs.

Ooo...I'm applying aloe to my legs/arms/chest today, too! I laid out by my friends pool all day yesterday, and an over-cast sky really can be deceiving!!

HA and I thought it was H.O.T. here in Idaho yesterday when the temp was 71 or so... guess I have finally gotten used to climate here. Funny that I thought 71 was hot. I would definitely go to the beach if it were that warm here. Unfortunately, that is a 7 hour drive for us!!

Your photos look like you had a Fab u lous time!!
