My Two Favorite Dads

First, Happy Father's Day to my wonderful husband. You are a fabulous father to our children, and I couldn't ask for a better partner in raising them. When our son was born, we were both excited and nervous, not knowing what we were getting ourselves into. The joy that he brought us was unimaginable, and I'm glad I can remember those moments during the not so easy ones!

And then we were blessed with our little girl. Not being "new" at this, we probably did a slightly better job, or at least weren't as panicky! There was no calling of the on-call nurse when she wouldn't wake up enough to eat. We were seasoned enough to know how to get around that, and many other things, as well.

And to my dad...

Thank you for your constant and unwavering love that I've had all of my life. Now matter how rotten I was (or am!), you never give up, and continue to be there for me. Thank you for a happy childhood and for being a wonderful grandfather to my children. Happy Father's Day!!
