Today's the Day!

Whatever the outcome of today's election, I know we all want the same thing -- a better America. That's all we can hope for, and I plan to take the most hopeful attitude I can, trusting that God's plan is bigger than mine. Even if I'm not sure I can see it or if I ever will.

We voted over a week ago before Hubby left town. He flies in today and I'm so glad we'll be together tonight to watch the returns. (Though I suspect we'll end up asleep before there's a clear answer.)

Election Night Menu: Tacos and a bottle of red wine. I'm going to need it.

Tacos or Calzones...or both. All sounds tasty to me! Happy evening to everyone...God Bless America.

P.S. Merrie...the Amy Grant concert last week was just fabulous! Hubby went in 'blind' and he loved it more than I did, ha! :-D

Hi Merrie! Thanks for the comment on my blog! I'm glad your hubby made it back in time for the returns. I was very, very sad to get into bed alone last night. You're right, though -- we just have to trust in God's plan...and keep praying for our country!
