A big thank you to Disney for allowing my daughter and me to review and give away a copy of this adorable family movie!  Noelle is a big fan of all things puppy as it is, but to put these darling puppies into a fun movie with a memorable cast -- even this mom enjoyed every moment!

The premise:
The North Pole has a new litter of playful pups!  However, when the frisky foursome -- Hope, Jingle, Charity and Noble -- practically destroy Santa's Workshop with their mischievous gamboling, they realize the best way to prove that they're responsible enough to become Santa's Helpers is to show how well they can spread the Christmas spirit all by themselves.  With help from a magic crystal, they start granting everyone's wishes.  But their good intentions backfire when one unhappy boy asks that Christmas go away forever!  With his wish impetuously fulfilled, and the joyous spirit quickly disappearing from the planet, Mrs. Claus and the pups have to find a way to reverse the spell -- or risk losing Christmas forever!

Noelle and I were both wrapped up in the movie from beginning to end.  The characters were well written and believable, with lots of familiar faces and voices to enjoy, and our hearts were captured by the little girl who wanted to help her family (and town) recapture the Christmas spirit.  She sang several songs, but we were blown away by a true Christmas song, "Oh Holy Night."  I applaud Disney for allowing the movie to be about more than just gifts and candy canes.

I highly recommend this film to anyone with children who love getting into the holiday spirit with a family friendly movie.  This film will be a part of our Christmas traditions for many years to come.

And thanks to Disney, it can be a part of yours, too!  Please enter my giveaway to win a Disney Blu-ray Combo Pack (Blu-ray + DVD).  The movie releases on November 20th, 2012 and will be available for purchase at retail stores nationwide for the suggested retail price of $39.99 U.S.

I'd be hard pressed to think of a favorite Disney movie. I like most of them. I've yet to see a Disney/Pixar movie that I didn't love. Going back to my childhood though, I'd probably say Little Mermaid was my favorite.
