A Smattering of Christmas

Just a quick glance into our Christmas. We spent 3 days at my parents house and then came home to celebrate with just the four of us, too.

Look, Santa came!

And thanks to Santa, this gift to my son (and the rest of us) was a little from him, and a little from all of us, thanks to the Wii Jar.

He was VERY happy. :)

It seems he's a genius at Wii bowling, while I'm better at Wii tennis. I was sore for several days! Meanwhile, my girl and I had a nice visit with her Grammy on the phone.

We were never clever enough to have anyone take a picture of our family of four -- why don't I ever think of these things?? However, we have plenty of the kids with their new toys, and of course with the dogs. At one point the kids took a bunch of pictures that I didn't know about until today. A few too many of the dogs walking around and of their own feet.

Lastly, I have to share what my daughter gave me for Christmas. She and I talked about it before her father took her shopping, and we agreed that either a pretty bottle of nail polish or a book would be perfect for me. I don't know what changed, but apparently she told Daddy she knew just what I needed, and that's how I came to be in possession of these.

She's got great taste, right? Thanks honey! I've never owned a pair of white sunglasses, but I'm sure I'll figure out what to wear these with.

My boy gave me a beautiful necklace with a pink stone in it a few years back - it's still one of my most precious possessions.
